BFA with honors from California College of the Arts James spent the first twelve years of his life in Massachusetts before moving to California with his mother. He has called the Bay Area home ever since but maintains a strong bond with the East Coast in general and New England in particular. In addition to illustration and design, James has self published two books of underground comics and created a line of graphic t-shirts. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and performer. James loves sushi, sci-fi and soft rock from the 70's. He is left handed and his astrological sign is Cancer.
